Virtually every society in the world depends on business to prosper, and success in business for most countries means success in international business. We live in an increasingly competitive world, with many regions working hard to increase their share of the marketplace. The successful regions in the future will be those with the most modern and effective facilities and services for the world of commerce.

It is not surprising, then, that modern industrialized and industrializing nations all over the world have embraced the World Trade Center concept.

The concept of the World Trade Centers Association was formed in 1970 as a not-for-profit, non-political association dedicated to the establishment and operation of World Trade Centers as instruments for trade expansion.

World Trade Centers are premiere international organizations that provide services to World Trade Center members to help them facilitate international business. World Trade Centers bring together business and government agencies involved in international trade, provide essential trade services and stimulate the economy of the region it serves. World Trade Centers service a million members worldwide.

It is the goal of World Trade Centers to develop and maintain facilities to house practitioners of trade and the services they need to conduct business, creating a central focal point for a region's trade services and activities, or a "one-stop shopping center" for international business.

Today, World Trade Center Orlando is networked with 326 World Trade Centers located in 92 countries.

Since World Trade Center services are reciprocal, World Trade Center Orlando members can access the services of these global World Trade Centers; the world's major trading Centers for trade information and assistance, business leads, and a wide variety of international opportunities.
